In many ways, KMSR Enterprises is just another independent record label trying to get noticed. Yet, there is something special about this label that sets them apart from all others. Lead by the musical genius Karl McNeill Sr. who has been a professional musician for 25+ years. KMSR Enterprises is also a family owned and operated Music Production, Recording, and Marketing Company. Not only is this family of 5 exceptionally talented, but the oldest two of three children, 19 and 16 years old respectively, are versatile breakout talents to be reckoned with.
KJ, the oldest and only son of Karl Sr. possesses the ability to write, record, and produce his own music by playing every instrument and laying all lead and background vocals in his songs. KJ has been playing professionally since the age of 12, mastering many genres of music as a drummer. He has performed with his father and on his own branching out as a true performer. Entering into his junior year at Coppin State College in Baltimore, MD, (yes that is right, he just turned 19), KJ plans to achieve a BS in Business Management. He states, Music is in my heart and mind; and it will always be with me. KJ performs four songs on KMSR Enterprises Artist Compilation, Volume 1 that is available now.
Kmiko, a junior at Cab Calloway School of the Arts here in Wilmington, DE is a multi-talented teen. Kmiko also has the ability to play several instruments including her instrument of choice, the electric bass. She is a gifted singer and also a trained dancer of many styles and disciplines which ranks her a triple threat in the music industry.
Included in this musical compilation are local breakout artists that Karl has provided a platform to also showcase their talents.
We are a versatile band that blends positive R&B, Soul, Pop, Neo-Soul, and Smooth Jazz together to appeal to all ages. It provides musical enjoyment for the whole family.
